Abrasion-resistant welding wire is specifically designed to resist two or more types of composite wear. It is primarily used for surface hardfacing and repair of equipment components in industries such as metallurgy, cement, and mining. Based on chemical composition, it is classified into two categories: iron-based (high-chromium alloys, tungsten carbide, etc.) and non-iron-based (cobalt-based, nickel-based). Structurally, it can be divided into solid wire and flux-cored wire. The welding processes include gas-shielded welding, submerged arc welding, and flame hardfacing. By adjusting the flux-cored alloy composition (such as tungsten carbide, chromium, molybdenum, etc.), this material achieves composite properties including resistance to abrasive wear, impact wear, high-temperature wear, and corrosion wear. The hardness of the hardfacing layer ranges from HRC 30 to 72. Classification Methods

(1) Based on chemical composition, it can be divided into two major categories: iron-based hardfacing abrasion-resistant welding wire and non-iron-based hardfacing abrasion-resistant welding wire.
